Until that happens, two veteran Houston restaurateurs have stepped in to add new life and destination status to a quiet stretch of W Dallas steps from Buffalo Bayou Park.

The Daily Review was recently retooled as Piggy’s by The Creek Group, debuting a cute and casual spot with expansive garden, while Sam Governale is in the midst of transforming Teala’s to a patio-centric, super-chic neighborhood hangout, Emmaline, opening early this fall.
