Post office redevelopment plans unveiled

by The 100 Companies

It’s been almost four years since Lovett Commercial purchased the former downtown Barbara Jordan Post Office, but since then the developer has been relatively quiet on its future plans for the historic space – until now.

Lovett Commercial has already revealed the mixed-use development will include “international cuisine, retail, art, music and innovation,” but the Houston-based developer will unveil the formal plans and renderings for the project at a groundbreaking ceremony on June 27.

Since its purchase in 2015, the roughly 550,000-square-foot property at 401 Franklin St. has been hosting events under the name POST Houston.
