Called “the brand your abuelita warned you about,” Mija Cultura is a Houston clothing company that specializes in streetwear. Run by Houston natives JoAnn Alvarez and Karla Dominguez, Mija Cultura’s designs are influenced by multiple places, mirroring the diversity of Houston.
The brand marries the founders’ Latina roots with their love of the emo music scene.
