It’s safe to say Houston’s first James Beard award-winning chef — Robert Del Grande — has an affinity for steak.
Who can forget his signature coffee-rubbed filet, which catapulted Del Grande to stardom. Now, the culinary veteran is spotlighting premium beef on the ground floor of his flagship restaurant, Cafe Annie, with a new dining concept coined The Prime Room.
The intimate 36-seat dining cove spotlights prime rib for its first iteration, serving two different cuts of the succulent beef alongside other menu items including house-smoked salmon, shrimp rillette, creamy onion soup and oysters on the half shell.
