Annual fundraising campaign RYDE for a Reason proved three is a charm for this year’s beneficiary, the Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
The nonprofit’s holiday coffers are just over $40,000 fuller thanks to the drive of RYDE co-founders Andrew Pappas and Ashley Gooch and co-owner Lisi Garcia. The trio’s dedicated fundraising activities included a sold-out cocktail party at The Dunlavy and all-day cycling in honor of Brooke Elaine Burgher Gibbs, a close friend of the RYDE team who was a passionate fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association prior to her untimely passing.
