This spring, take a permanent voyage at Houston’s Art of the World Gallery. In an exhibition titled “The Permanent Voyage,” Spanish artist Cristóbal Toral showcases nearly 40 works covering his entire artistic philosophy.
Toral is known for his use of magical and pictorial realism to portray everything from the journey as a state of passage to the use of space and time to make modern classics of artistic masterpieces. His use of luggage imagery and places of transit encourages viewers to look at their own journeys in new and different ways. The exhibit runs from March 23 – May 19.
