Carnegie Homes launches its new open-house series “Carnegie Cooks” tonight from 6-8 pm at 432 Marshall St. in Montrose with CultureMap food editor Eric Sandler.

Formatted much like his popular “What’s Eric Eating?” podcast, the evening will allow guests to interact with the fearless foodie as he dishes about the fall’s most anticipated new restaurants and recently ranked roundup of top 100 Houston eateries.

Chat and chew with complimentary drinks and nibbles, and tour the first three residences in Masterson Oaks, an enclave of Victorian-style homes built around a 300-year-old oak tree in historic Westmoreland.
