Nora’s Home celebrates good times at annual gala

The 8th annual Nora’s Home “We Are Family” gala at The Post Oak Hotel raised $950,000 to benefit families of recovering transplant patients. Special honorees at this year’s gala were Houston residents Caroline and Jim Looke and Paula and Rusty Walter.

Guests arrived at a funky cocktail reception, where they tested their luck with lively casino games before being seated to enjoy a delicious dinner and the official gala program. In true seventies fashion, the party started with a burst of confetti and a lively auction, eventually wrapping up with attendees dancing to the timeless sounds of The Grooves.
