A new, 30,000-square-foot lifestyle destination has been announced for a rapidly gentrifying stretch of North Shepherd Drive. Developed by Wile Interests, Inc. and Capital Retail Properties, which will oversee leasing, Market at Houston Heights is slated to deliver space to tenants for build out in fall 2018.
The 75,000-square-foot parcel at 1533 N. Shepherd encompasses more than half a city block and is just steps from Heights Bier Garten. Austin’s acclaimed Michael Hsu is overseeing design of the transformative, pedestrian-oriented project, anticipated to bridge activity along Shepherd and Durham with 19th Street.
