A series of 22 illuminated spheres are set to transform Discovery Green and the plaza at Avenida Houston into a magical moonscape.
The “moonGARDEN” installation will feature 11 shadow sphere theaters, ranging in size from six to 30 feet in diameter, that tell the dynamic story of Houston and Discovery Green. The installation will also have interactive works for visitors to experience. This will be the largest installation ever created by Lucion Travelling Light of Montreal.
The exhibition will be on display Sept. 29-Oct. 7 and will be visible during park hours. Lights will be activated nightly, 6pm-12am.
