So you finally got your degree? Congrats! Welcome to the demographic of which over a third of Americans are members.

Not to rain on your parade and get your tassels all soaked, but the year after my graduation three years ago was actual HELL. Here’s a checklist to make sure you stay on the right track:

– Get that resume on fleek

– Apply everywhere relevant to your degree

– Don’t accept something you’ll hate yourself for

– Make time to have fun

– Don’t compare yourself to others

– Fix your social media

– DON’T GIVE UP

… and take it easy on avocado toast and brunch
