Forever stamp prices increase

by The 100 Companies

Even with technology at our fingertips, we still rely on the postal system to deliver letters and packages to our doorsteps. Forever stamps, which are frequently used for mailing letters first-class as they never expire even if prices change in the future, increased in price by two cents as of July 10.

The Postal Service says that “inflation and increased operating costs” are to blame for the increase from 58 cents to 60 cents.

The stamps were 41 cents in 2007 when they were first introduced. The most recent price change brings an increase of 32% over the past 15 years.
