New EaDO Art Gallery features an homage to the feminine

Art aficionados enjoyed a swanky evening at District Art Gallery celebrating the opening of “Femme: A Voyage Through Her Garden” on Thursday, May 10.

The gallery created an ethereal experience to enjoy art, light bites, signature cocktails, a live harpist set in a glass box and a lively raffle benefiting The Women’s Home – amidst impressive floral designs. Artists include Marcus Wilson, Michael Temple, Paperbag, Patricia Blackwell, Penda Diakite, Romeo Robinson, Stephanie Gonzales and Tony Ri’chard.

“The experience we create sets us apart from other galleries,” says Moriah Alise, director of District Art Gallery. The exhibition is extended through June 17.
