Things are brewing in Garden Oaks on Wakefield Drive. Breweries and a winery are drawing hundreds of visitors to sip, sample and socialize in inviting, family-friendly indoor and outdoor spaces. Here are a few of our favorites.
• Great Heights Brewing Company has an air-conditioned tap room and trivia nights.
• Walking Stick Brewing Company has a plant-filled beer garden and beer served from a trailer until construction on the taproom is complete.
Learn about wine-making and sample a few small-batch wines at Decant Urban Winery. Partially open now, the grand opening is slated for this summer.
