Danton’s Gulf Coast Seafood and Steaks has been serving up some of Houston’s freshest and most delicious seafood since 2007 in its Montrose location. Early 2019 brings changes for this hotspot including a new name: Eugene’s Gulf Coast Cuisine.
Danton’s last service will be on New Year’s Eve. Eugene’s will take over a storied and classic space on 1985 Welch Street, which previously housed Mockingbird Bistro. This space is full of unique details and intricate design.
Once completed, the décor, just like the food, will combine the traditional and vintage aspects of Gulf Coast culture with a contemporary flare.
