Two chefs embarked on a 100-day journey to inspire the menu for Musaafer (pronounced Mu-sa-fer). The restaurant weaves together a dazzling tapestry of centuries-old regional cuisine, street food, spices and post-colonial cultures. The result: a menu combining authenticity, tradition and a fresh sense of unbridled culinary exploration.
Musaafer is a play on an ancient word found in multiple languages – including Persian, Hindi and Urdu – meaning “traveler.” Musaafer will occupy 10,000 square feet in the new Galleria VI Wing, which is part of a multi-million dollar project including signature restaurants and retail fronting Westheimer.
