Let’s face it, most of us don’t carry cash anymore, and if we do, it’s in minimal amounts. The ease of using Wi-Fi credit and debit card services, like Apple and Samsung Pay, has made physical cash seem slightly useless.
Due to the reality we currently live in and the spike in hygiene measures, the usage of cashless payments has skyrocketed. The truth is, many believe that COVID-19 could in fact be the “tipping point” for complete adoption of cashless payment services – even for the skeptics.
Will we go back to a time where “cash” no longer exists again?
