Swinging on the ’70s

What do you get when you combine a wealthy entrepreneurial engineer and the swinging ‘70s?

Well you have a Feng Shu-designed modern marvel that was built to last. That’s just what happened when a Tanglewood landmark at 302 Shadywood Rd. was built. The original owner, Al Retzloff, a pioneer in the drilling industry, built his dream home that backed up to the Houston Country Club.

Able to withstand any natural disaster, the home was known as much for its entertaining spaces. The “living room” was actually his card room and featured a massive bar and views of the fairways.
