Recently, it seems more and more people I know are getting the COVID-19 vaccine – but what does that mean for taking precautions? The CDC recently shared guidelines on how to best continue protecting yourself and others.
Once fully vaccinated, you can gather indoors without a mask with others who’ve been fully vaccinated or one other household, without anyone at increased risk of illness, that hasn’t been vaccinated. If you’re around someone who has COVID-19, you don’t need to quarantine unless you experience symptoms.
For now, it’s still important to wear masks and take precautions in public and avoid large gatherings.
