Resonance Consultancy ranked Houston No. 11 in its 2019 America’s Best Cities report. Houston edged out Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, which ranked 13th, 17th and 27th, respectively.
Houston ranked highly in all major categories Resonance examined. Its best performance was in the product category, which included factors like airline connectivity, attractions, culture and higher education. The Bayou City ranked seventh in this category, a likely result of the airport’s record growth over the past year.
Other categories included place, programming, people, prosperity and promotion. New York City ranked first overall and earned top honors in five of six categories.
