Annual Free Summer Screening Event Julydoscope Blasts off July 15

Houston Cinema Arts Society is once again taking Julydoscope into the stratosphere with the seventh iteration of the popular annual arts celebration, which blasts off on July 15 at Discovery Green.

The free screenings and live performances will feature short films from two previous CineSpace competitions at Houston Cinema Arts Festival (HCAF) – a ground-breaking partnership with NASA that takes space photography in film to new-found heights.

Julydoscope 2017 will kick off with trivia and giveaways with host Ernie Manouse at 7PM, with additional live entertainment preceding the CineSpace screenings, including a live performance by the saxophone quartet MUSIQA.
