Chinese New Year officially kicks off on Feb. 16 with the Spring Festival and concludes with the Lantern Festival on March 2.
The Year of the Dog starts with a bang – and a bark – around the city with numerous opportunities to enjoy activities inspired by Lunar New Year traditions throughout the month. The Asia Society, Chinese Community Center and Texas Lunar Festival are just a few of the organizations showcasing food, entertainment, arts and crafts.
