Rice Village: Now Fresher and Smoothier

Cranking temps = time for al fresco brunches.

This summer we’ll be hitting up Island Grill’s new location, opening this month in Rice Village. The grilled chicken breast pita, breakfast tacos and banana nut pancakes are all bangin’ — you really can’t go wrong at this fast-casual Mediterranean American spot. Owner Faysal Haddad crafted the menu using family recipes from his childhood in Damascus, Syria. All of the dishes are healthy and super fresh.

Don’t miss the smoothie and juice menu that features namesake items from VIP customers like George H. W. Bush and Lance Berkman. We’ll drink to that.
