Even savvy travelers have fallen for this travel scam

by The 100 Companies

You get a phone call saying your flight was cancelled and offering to rebook you. After giving the person your flight details and credit card information, you find out your flight was never cancelled. Or you search for a customer service number for an airline, call the number and find out it was a fake number.

Protect yourself from these con artists by never giving our personal information on an incoming call. Hang up and call the airlines directly. Use the number on your credit card if you have one affiliated with the airline or go directly to their website.
