At the heart of our city are 10 winding waterways flowing through the neighborhoods and into the Gulf of Mexico. They have connected us since the Allen brothers and other bold adventurers staked out what has become Houston.
Today, we have over 2 million residents with a 50-50 ratio of men to women and average age of 33. We rally from adversity and celebrate our champions. And circle the wagons when help is needed.
Welcome to The Houston 100. You’ll find precisely crafted 100-word stories on what’s going on in our town. Let us know what you think.
