There’s nothing like preparing for vacation to get organized. Here’s my pre-vacation to-do list:
• Confirm reservations
• Go to bank
• Alert credit card(s) with travel dates
• Hold mail/newspaper
• Update credentials (passport, driver’s license, global entry)
• Adjust the A/C temperature
• Plan packing, wash and iron clothes, go to the cleaners
• Clean out the refrigerator
• Ensure the yard/plants are watered
• Have neighbor watch home
• Share itinerary with family
• Schedule online/other payments
• Leave light on (timer)
• Activate an email auto-reply and voicemail greeting
• Check travel insurance
• Pack appropriate chargers/adaptors/electronics
• Download books/movies
• Refill prescriptions
• Arrange pet care
• Get phone travel plan
