To me, Instagram can be the place you go to get away from your other social media feeds, which are typically populated with news and opinions from people you went to high school with.
Depending on who you choose to follow, you can curate a feed with feel-good stories, humor and adorable animals – or whatever you like.
Some Instagram accounts brightening my feed are @Upworthy, which posts about positive things people are doing; @nationalparkservice, who pairs some levity with their education; and @weratedogs, a funny source for dog ratings that will be sure to put a smile on your face.
