Penthouse West at The Regency House

Houston’s skyline is dotted with glitzy high-rises, but one that’s best known as River Oaks best kept “secret” carries a blue-blooded pedigree. Conceptualized in 1962, The Regency House was built by William Dickey who owned most of the land around what is now Upper Kirby. It was the first luxury high-rise built outside downtown and marketed to River Oaks matrons moving from palatial estates.

Penthouse West, which is on the market, offers sweeping views of the city’s toniest neighborhood and access to a private 2-acre park with swimming pool. The two-bedroom penthouse offers an address that mouths “old money.”
