The recent announcement of the redevelopment of Jones Plaza has us thinking there is a new jewel in Houston’s crown. Another analogy – if downtown were a doughnut the most delicious donut hole is in the making as that’s what the $25 million renovation of the 1.5-acre Jones Plaza will be to our city.
“It’s the crown jewel,” says Chris Tripoli, founder and president of A La Carte Foodservice Consulting Group, the company that’s been tapped to plan the new park’s food service. Think hip, fast casual along with seated dining for breakfast, lunch, dinner and pre-show cocktails.
