Beatles tribute in the Bayou City

When you hear someone say “Beatles statues” it’s likely that Liverpool – not Houston – immediately comes to mind. Nevertheless, East Downtown (EaDo) is currently home to a truly fantastic, towering tribute to the Fab Four.

Crafted by renowned sculptor and native Texan David Adickes, the statues have been displayed in a few spots around Houston, and currently reside at 8th Wonder Brewery.

Weighing in at four tons per Beatle, John, Paul and George stand at 36-feet tall, with a drumming, seated Ringo coming in a bit shorter. And if you’re in the market, they’re for sale, but only as a set.
