Katz’s never kloses

Katz's interior

Katz’s Montrose flagship is unveiling a major interior face-lift next month, thanks to Austin-based creative force Michael Hsu.

The redesign, entirely encompassing two floors, will offer diners a whimsical yet polished take on a classic Brooklyn diner, complete with a newly expanded bar. Katz’s inaugural happy hour will showcase a spread of $5 bites, including loaded chips, Reuben sliders and its famous fried pickles. The drink menu has undergone a refresh with new $6 Kraft Cocktails.

Die-hard fans will be happy to know that the phased construction project continues the landmark’s 20-year tradition of never closing.
