George H. W. Bush is laid to rest

by
George Bush

On Tuesday, Air Force One or “Special Air Mission 41,” as it was named for this mission, landed in Houston to transport Houston’s most honorable resident to lie in state at our nation’s capitol.

Bush’s body was brought back today, Dec. 6, for his funeral and final resting place next to his wife and daughter at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station. CAVU, or “ceiling and visibility unlimited,” described the rich life of the former Navy pilot, Congressman, CIA director, vice president and president.

He was someone to emulate from the greatest generation. Rest in peace.
