An impressive 6m tall living green wall has been erected by Dubai Properties in the heart of Culture Village. A testament to the developer’s commitment to sustainable living, the impressive 1,260-square-meter structure features over 80,000 plants.
The leafy structure provides an Insta-worthy backdrop to the Dubai Creek, and has the functional benefit of neutralizing around 4.4 tonnes of CO2 annually. It also acts as an evaporative cooling source for the urban environment, lowering surface temperatures by up to five degrees Celsius.
The Dubai Wharf Green Wall is now the region’s largest living green wall.
