Houston celebrates Mexican spirits on Día de los Muertos

by The 100 Companies

For its second year, the Día de los Muertos parade and festival returns to Houston for a celebration of life, death and eternal love.

Also known as the Day of the Dead, this traditional Mexican holiday welcomes the spirits of our departed loved ones back to us. Festivities kick off on Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. at Sam Houston Park.

The parade, which begins and ends at the park, starts at 7 p.m. and invites all Houstonians to participate as long as their attire is filled with the beauty and splendor of authentic Día de los Muertos wear.
