Have a sweet tooth like us and need some advice on making it through the remainder of cookie and eggnog season? Try these tips from fitness instructor Chanelle Lagace:

• Start the morning with hot lemon water to cleanse and balance pH.
• Move your body! Some simple activities like a few rounds of push ups, burpees, crunches and air squats will get your heart pumping.
• Lay off the booze. Give yourself a limit, then switch to water. Your body will thank you.
• Since there’s no blizzard in Houston’s forecast, go for a walk outside after a big breakfast, lunch or dinner.
