Big things are happening at intimate Stages Repertory Theatre. The acclaimed gem on the edge of Montrose and River Oaks and perched above Buffalo Bayou has a $30 million expansion plan in the works. Why not speed it along by supporting a one-woman show about one of Texas’ biggest personalities, Ann Richards.

Ann, a comedic look at the legendary former governor, runs through April 8. Make a night of it with dinner before or after the performance with Stages’ new neighbors – stylish Emmaline, where American fare meets European refinement, or casual and cozy Piggy’s – both of which offer fantastic patios.
