Winter warm-up

Between the snow days and #icepocalypse, there’s no denying that winter is making its stamp on Houston. Milano Bar’s Brandon Hernandez has a remedy to keep you warm this season: A coffee-based cocktail menu.

At $12 each, options include The Merchant of Kentucky, featuring Amaro Nardini, Russell’s Reserve 10 Year Old Bourbon and cinnamon; Café Oaxaca, made with mezcal, Yellow Chartreuse and Aperol; The Giving Tree, a combination of Applejack, spiced pear liqueur and port wine; and We’ll Always Have Paris, a mixture of Four Roses bourbon, Bache-Gabrielsen cognac, Benedictine herbal liqueur and Gran Gala orange liqueur.
