Art of the World Gallery brings some serious cosmic energy to town when the year-old blue-chip gallery debuts Jiménez Deredia and his other worldly sculpture in its first exhibition of the year beginning Friday, Jan. 19.
“Cosmic Energy in Jiménez Deredia’s Sculptures” will include 17 works on display with a certain sculptural magic and a distinct juxtaposition of spirituality and rationality.
As the world’s leading Latin American sculptor with over 50 personal exhibitions and 100 collective exhibitions, the Costa Rican native remains the only extra-European artist to have work represented in the Vatican’s public collection.
